Buying, billing and cancellation
How does IronCAD pricing work?
IronCAD is a per-agency subscription, not a per-user one. Starter is $99/month for up to 10 seats. Professional is $299/month for up to 50 seats. Enterprise & Tactical is custom-priced for unlimited seats, SSO, an SLA, and on-premises or hybrid deployment. Current plans and what each includes are on the pricing section of the home page.
When am I charged?
A valid payment method is required at sign-up and your first charge is taken immediately when you subscribe. After that you are charged automatically at the start of each billing term at the plan price you selected, until you cancel.
Does the subscription renew automatically?
Yes. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing term at the then-current price until cancelled. For any term longer than 31 days we send a renewal reminder between 5 and 30 days before the renewal charge, including any price change and instructions for cancelling. Price changes never apply mid-term.
How do I cancel?
Online, in your account settings — the same way you signed up, without contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access through the period you have paid for. Full detail is in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within defined windows. Contact us within 14 days of your first subscription charge for a full refund of it, or within 7 days of an unintended renewal charge provided the service has not been materially used in the new term. Otherwise fees are non-refundable and we do not prorate mid-term cancellations. Nothing there limits remedies required by law. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for the authoritative version.
I do not recognise a charge.
Email contact@ironcladthor.com before disputing it with your card issuer — duplicate charges, failed cancellations and unrecognised charges are almost always resolved faster directly. We respond to billing enquiries within 2 business days.
What happens if I exceed my seat count?
Seat limits are per plan — 10 on Starter, 50 on Professional. If your agency is growing past its tier, contact us and we will move you to the right plan rather than letting you hit a wall mid-incident.
Getting started
How long does setup take?
Minutes. IronCAD is fully hosted — there is nothing to install, no server to provision and no maintenance window. You subscribe, set your password from the welcome email, and sign in. The step-by-step version is on the documentation and onboarding page.
Who becomes the administrator?
The person who subscribes becomes the agency's first admin and invites the rest of the team. There is no open self-registration into an existing workspace — a user has to be invited.
Do you help with data setup?
Yes — guided onboarding and data setup are included with a new agency workspace. Tell us what you are bringing across when you get in touch.
Can we try it before we buy?
Agencies that want to talk to a person before subscribing should use the Request access path rather than the checkout — we will set up a conversation about your agency's requirements. Self-serve checkout is there for agencies that already know what they need.
Accounts, access and security
Is there two-factor authentication?
Yes — email 2FA is available on every plan, including Starter. Single sign-on is available on Enterprise & Tactical.
Can I control what people see?
Yes. Access is role-based across the whole agency, so roles determine what each user can view and change.
Who owns the data we put in?
Your agency does. Incident records, unit and apparatus data, personnel rosters, location and map data and documents you create in IronCAD remain yours. We use them to operate, secure, back up and improve the service for you, and for nothing else. We do not sell personal data or process it for targeted advertising.
What happens to our data if we leave?
After termination your data is available for export for thirty (30) days, then deleted in the ordinary course of our backup cycles.
Is IronCAD CJIS or SOC 2 certified?
No, to both, and we say so plainly rather than leaving it vague. IronCAD has not completed a SOC 2 audit and has not been assessed against the FBI CJIS Security Policy. If either is a requirement for your agency, read the Security & Compliance page, which states our full certification position, and talk to us before you buy.
The product
What does IronCAD actually do?
Incident command, units and apparatus tracking, personnel and shift scheduling, a live tactical field map, and incident timelines and after-action records — in one operational picture. The features section summarises each.
Which integrations are available on my plan?
Integration availability differs by plan and some integrations depend on your existing radio, alerting or mapping infrastructure. Ask us for the current list for your plan and your setup before you buy on the strength of a specific integration — contact us and we will tell you exactly what is available today.
Does IronCAD replace our dispatch procedures?
No, and it is important that it does not. IronCAD supports your agency's dispatch policies, procedures, training and the requirements of your authority having jurisdiction. Your agency remains responsible for its own call-handling and response decisions, for the 911/E911/NG911 and FCC requirements that apply to it, and for maintaining continuity-of-operations procedures including an independent means of dispatch if the service is degraded or unavailable. See section 11 of the Terms of Service.
Is there a mobile or desktop app?
IronCAD is reachable from any device at your agency workspace URL. A desktop application is also published. Ask us about the current platform options for your team.
Support
How do I get help?
Email contact@ironcladthor.com. Priority support is included with the hosted service.
Something is broken right now and we are running calls.
Email us immediately and follow your agency's continuity-of-operations procedure in the meantime. Do not wait on a support reply while an incident is active — that is what the backup dispatch procedure is for, and every agency should have one regardless of which software it uses.
This page is a plain-language summary provided for convenience. Where it differs from the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy or the Refund & Cancellation Policy, those documents govern.
